Lisa is a Registered Dietitian and NYS Certified Nutritionist. She has over 20 years of experience in clinical care, outpatient nutrition counseling services, home care, and long-term care nutrition consulting. Lisa graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with High Honors.
She then went on to obtain her Master of Education degree in Counseling and Development from George Mason University where she earned an Academic Achievement Award for obtaining a Cumulative GPA of 4.0. She holds two advanced training certificates in Weight Management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Lisa is a past president of the Central New York Dietetic Association and past recipient of the New York State Outstanding Young Dietitian of the Year Award. Lisa has a passion and commitment for helping others achieve their personal nutrition goals through individualized counseling and ongoing support. Using cognitive-behavioral strategies and evidenced-based solutions, Lisa believes that all food can fit and uses a “real food” approach to helping you balance your “real life.”
On a personal note, Lisa is an avid long distance runner, having completed 4 full marathons, countless half marathons and other races. She loves to cook and specializes in quick, healthy meals for busy families. Having been an ovo-lacto vegetarian for the past 20 years, she loves discovering new ways to prepare fruits, vegetables and hearty vegetarian dishes. Lisa also enjoys camping and hiking with her family. She lives with her husband, Eric and boy/girl twins, Colden and Annaliese, in Fayetteville, NY.
